Captilo verifies that a certificate fingerprint exists on the blockchain. However:
Original Capture Authenticity
We do NOT verify the authenticity of the original capture or photo
Certificate Holder Identity
We do NOT verify the identity of the certificate holder
Metadata Accuracy
We do NOT verify the accuracy of metadata fields (location, timestamp, device)
Network Availability
We rely on blockchain network availability
No Warranty
Captilo is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- •Fitness for a particular purpose
- •Accuracy of verification results
- •Availability of service
- •Security of verification process
- •Reliability of blockchain queries
Blockchain Dependency
Verification depends on:
Blockchain network availability
Network API availability and uptime
Correct submission by certificate issuer (Captilo)
Network infrastructure reliability
Limitation of Liability

Incorrect Verifications
We are not liable for incorrect verification results, false positives, or false negatives
Service Downtime
We are not liable for service interruptions, downtime, or inability to verify certificates
Blockchain Network Issues
We are not liable for issues with the blockchain network or blockchain infrastructure
Consequential Damages
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this service

Captilo verification is NOT a substitute for:
